If you do, my intention is that you find this video helpful for reducing your stress load.

I know for me, stress sneaks up on me. We live in such a stress filled world and if I don’t pay attention I find myself I’m in the middle of stress and it just keeps escalating. The key is to manage it throughout the day and we can do this with short breaks and this can really take the edge off of our stress.

Tapping through the stress can really help to manage it and reduce its impact. Giving up getting it right, is essential. I’ve been paying attention to my stress level, more than ever before, and I still don’t catch it at times.

It was great when I was talking to my web guy the other day and he stopped and said, “Marti, take a breath.” As soon as he said this, I realized how stressed I was feeling and how driven. In that moment, I was able to take a breath and slow it all down and focus better. It was a moment of practicing good self-care and he noticed the difference.

I love setting intentions, because I find them to be highly effective. Especially when I let go of the need to get it right. Intention is just that, an intention. It doesn’t mean we’ll do it perfectly. It doesn’t mean we’ll magically shift, but it does mean we’re willing to have something be different for us. Step by step, moment by moment, we can get to a better more self supporting place.

Before you tap along, check in with yourself and see how you feel now and then tap through the sequence and check in after. If you’re stress elevates, just keep tapping until you notice relief. If you can take a stress break throughout your day for even 3-5 minutes at different times, I think you’ll find the cumulative effect of this is amazing and you’ll start feeling happy and healthier in your life.
