I Can’t Get What I Want
Have you ever felt this way?
I spent decades feeling this way, and truth be told, I still have places where this shows up in my life.
What can you do when you believe that you can’t get what you want and what does this really mean anyway?
Let’s break this down as simply as possible.
I Can’t Get What I Want is a belief. A belief is a thought you’ve been thinking over and over and over again. Some beliefs really serve you and some….not so much. The good news…is beliefs that don’t serve you can be changed.
Now with this said.
Have you ever tapped on certain beliefs or situations in your life, yet they seem to persist?
How can you change stubborn beliefs?
Of course, tapping is the best tool I know to release resistance.
Here’s a 3 Simple, Practical Step Process I’ve put together that combines Tapping with a powerful tool from Abraham Hicks:
1) Awareness – It’s likely you’ve heard that awareness is the first step to change anything, and I think this is true. You can’t change what you’re not aware of. Call to mind something that you’ve wanted and wanted but have yet to see it show up in your world. Set the intention to practice awareness on this particular topic. Let’s say it’s your finances. You’ve wanted to create more money and less fear for as long as you can remember and yet you’re still afraid and still don’t have the financial resources you really desire. As you go through your day, anytime you have to deal with money, notice the feelings that come up for you. Just be aware. Also, know that you’re not going to be aware 24/7 but when you are, just notice the resistant thoughts that surface for you.
2) Tap – Make the time to tap on what you notice. Work through the thoughts and emotions that surface for you when you’re paying bills, spending money or any time you’re dealing with or hearing about money. This lowers your resistance so that you create an opening for more good feeling thoughts to come through.
3) Amplify Good Feelings – Find something that’s easy to feel good about. I like being in nature. I spend 15 minutes every morning in my backyard, doing a nature meditation. This simply means I observe all the beauty in nature. Once I observe things in nature that are easy to feel good about, I consciously move my thinking over to a money goal and then amplify that goal from a much better feeling place. I practice a Rampage of Appreciation (Abraham-Hicks) about my money goal. It’s fun and exciting to see how much easier my brain grabs on to this goal because I’ve already put myself into a better feeling place that was easy to reach.
I find this to be a powerful, highly effective way to combine tapping with Abraham-Hicks tools for better results.
