10 Reasons You NEVER Want to Tap

1) Stay Stressed Out – If you want to stay stressed out and stuck in the stress response, then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to reduce your stress level and soothe your nervous system so that you’re better able to handle stressful situations, then I recommend you tap.

2) Stay in Self-Judgment – If you want to keep judging yourself and feeling bad about yourself or thinking there’s just something wrong with you, then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to feel better about yourself. Realize that there’s nothing wrong with you. Know that you’ve downloaded limiting beliefs that have kept you stuck and free yourself of your limiting beliefs so that you can get lasting positive traction in your life, then I recommend you tap.

3) Stay Stuck in Negative Emotion – If you want to keep feeling negatively about your life circumstances and continue to feel bad about feeling negative emotion, then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to allow yourself to feel through your emotions to their completion so that you can release them and not make yourself wrong for feeling negative emotions, then I recommend you tap.

4) Stay in Self-Doubt – If you want to stay stuck in self-doubt, not trusting yourself, making a decision and then continuing to change that decision until you feel like you can’t even make a decision, they you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to be able to make a decision with more clarity and self-trust. Make a decision and then make it the right decision for yourself, then I recommend you tap.

5) Stay Limited in Your Life – If you want to stay limited in your life. Have limits on what’s possible for you, then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want begin to believe that it’s possible to create more for your life, AND be able to actually manifest what you want in your life, then I recommend you tap.

6) Stay Exactly Where You Are Now – If you want to stay exactly where you are right now in your life. If you think, “I’m good. I don’t desire more in my life,” then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to create more in your life, then I recommend to tap.

7) Stay Worried – If you want to stay stuck in worry, battling worry, then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to release being worried more and more in your life, then I recommend you tap.

8) Stay Flat-lined in Your Life – If you want to stay flat-lined in your life, thinking, “My life’s not bad, but it’s not really good either,” and you want to stay in this flat-line feeling, then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to feel happier and more joyful in your life, then I recommend you tap.

9) Stay Feeling Physical, Mental and Emotional Pain – If you want to stay in physical, mental and emotional pain then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to release more of your physical, mental and emotional pain, then I recommend you tap.

10) Stay Stuck in Fear – If you want to stay stuck in fear and limiting yourself, because of fear,then you don’t want to tap. However, if you want to release fear, in the moment, and long term so that you can keep taking steps forward in your life, then I recommend you tap.

There are a host of reasons beyond these to tap. It’s not a miracle cure, but once I found tapping, I FINALLY was able to get forward traction in my life and overcome self-sabotaging behaviors.

I love the saying, “It’s okay to be a masterpiece and a work in progress simultaneously.” I think this is true for all of us. I love knowing that I have a tool, literally at my fingers that I can use to tap on ANYTHING when I need to.
